The Stranglehold of Worldly Worries
These verses describe, in the parable of the Sower (Mark 4:1-20), a third soil-type into which God's Word may be sown. It is full of thorn bushes. This is a picture of people who have a desire for God and an interest in what Jesus has to say, but seem to be overwhelmed with the pressures of living in a troubled world.
