Who should I marry?

The Bible teaches that God knows every detail of our lives. He has created us and given us gifts, skills and abilities (Ps 139:13) and He knows all the days of our lives before they come to be (Ps 139:16). Acts 17:26 explains that God even determines where we will live! From these scriptures we see a picture of a God who is concerned with the details of our lives; and that includes marriage.

What must I do to be able to speak in tongues?

As with any spiritual gift we do not have the ability to speak in tongues naturally, but it is one of many special gifts from God – like a tool which He enables us to use so that He is glorified and the church is strengthened.

In 1 Corinthians 12:27-31 the Apostle Paul explains that God gives a variety of different gifts to the church. Nobody has all of them, but everybody is given some.

Who is Satan?

Satan is a real personality, identified at the very beginning of the Bible (Genesis 3:1) and the very end (Revelation 20:10), with many references in between.

Jesus considered him to be a real personality and rebuked him with God's Word (Matthew 4:1-11).

Satan is a created being, he was not eternal with God in the beginning; but he is not human with a natural lifespan. He is a spiritual being without a body, as are the angels, and he can masquerade as an angel of light, to suit his dark purposes.
